We have received the Visit Britain's "We're Good to Go" Industry Standard.
All our events will comply with COVID-19 safe procedures. We have made changes to our Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments to assess our COVID-19 risks and implement safe procedures in line with Government guidelines. Further details will be sent out with Joining Instructions issued prior to each event.
Like all those involved in delivering these activities, we have a responsibility for the health and safety of all participants, school staff and expedition leaders, and a duty to protect members of the public from our actions.
We send our very best wishes to all our participants and our team of leaders and pray that you remain safe during these challenging times.

School Expedition Programmes
Following the Department of Education's guidelines announced on 2nd July 2020 regarding schools reopening in September, we will be offering single day planning and training sessions, including navigation training and paddle skills training. These will be non-residential in line with the guidelines. Regrettably, the guidelines prevent us from being able to deliver any overnight residentials in 2020, and we are liaising with all schools to rearrange residential training and expeditions for 2021.
We will ensure that everyone who registered on their DofE journey in 2020 is offered the opportunity to complete their expedition, and their DofE Award, during 2021. External factors, such as exams, are being taken into consideration in planning dates so as to minimise any impact to the academic progress of participants. We have also developed a Silver Direct Entrant programme which is being offered to schools and which complies with temporary expedition changes implemented by DofE to meet the needs of those affected by the cancellation of expeditions in 2020.
We encourage all DofE participants during this time to follow the advice from DofE on how to continue your Award during this period and to complete your Volunteering, Skills and Physical sections (#DofEWithADifference).
