2020 Open Bronze Qualifying Expeditions - NEW!!!

We will be running a number of Open Bronze Qualifying Expeditions in October 2020. These will be available for individuals or small groups to book.

Price: £144.00 per person including VAT.

Discounts available under our "price promise pledge" for participants previously registered with ourselves for 2020 Expeditions which have been unable to go ahead due to COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. Please contact us for details.

What's included:

  • 3-days, 2-nights: Navigation Training Day with overnight camp followed by Qualifying Expedition.

  • Supervision and assessment by our team of qualified Expedition Leaders & Assessors.

  • Pastoral supervision on camp.

  • Camp site fees

  • Tents, stoves, fuel, group first aid kit and route maps provided for each individual participant.

  • Public Liability Insurance of £10million, AALA Licence and DofE AAP Licence.

Mon 19th - Wed 21st October 2020: Derbyshire Peak District (14 spaces)

Tues 20th - Thurs 22nd October 2020: Derbyshire Peak District (full)

Mon 26th - Wed 28th October 2020: Derbyshire Peak District (limited to 28 participants)

Thurs 29th - Sat 31st October 2020: Derbyshire Peak District (limited to 28 participants)

COVID-19 Procedures

All our expeditions will comply with COVID-19 safe procedures including:

  • A COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire will be sent to all attendees (participants and leaders) prior to attending.

  • Restricting the numbers on each expedition to comply with current Government social distancing rules.

  • All participants must bring their own hand sanitiser and face coverings. There will also be a supply of these available on the expedition.

  • Participants will be issued with their own tent, stove, fuel and group first aid kit for the duration of the expedition. Participants will not share group equipment or food.

  • Campsites will be disinfecting and cleaning communal areas (toilets and washing-up areas) regularly and all users must follow the campsite rules.

  • Travel - Participants should travel to/from the expedition areas within their household or social bubble. If using public transport, participants must comply with Government rules and wear face masks.

DofE Expedition Information

All our DofE training is based on the DofE's Common Training Framework at each level. Canoeing Training also incorporates the Paddle Skills Training.

All our expeditions are subject to the DofE's 20 Expedition Conditions.
