Open Gold Walking Expeditions

2021 Open Gold Expeditions

Our Open Gold Walking Expeditions are a great way of doing your DofE Expedition in some of the UK’s scenic National Parks. Training and Practice Expeditions take place in the Peak District (Dark Peaks), with Qualifying Expeditions in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.

We will be running an Open Gold Training & Practice Expedition on Sat 29 May - Wed 2 June 2021 in the Peak District and an Open Gold Qualifying Expedition on Mon 12 - Fri 16 July 2021 in the Yorkshire Dales. We are aligning our dates to the UK roadmap and it is expected that these expeditions will include overnight camping as long as the UK Government achieves it's target of moving to Step 3 around 17th May. We have also planned in a contingency set of dates from Sun 20th - Thurs 24th June if there is a delay in moving to Step 3.

These expeditions will suit participants who have been unable to make their own school dates or individual participants who do not have a team to complete their expedition with.

  • Qualifying Expedition: £288.00 per person including VAT (spaces for 4 individual participants)
