Once camp has been set up, teams will undergo a comprehensive kit check to ensure they have everything they need for the 4-days.
After the kit check has been completed, teams will head out on a navigation training walk with their instructor where they will learn the skills required to operate independently on a Expedition (including Emergency Procedures). This walk will last around 6 hours with participants carrying light packs.
In the evening, teams will be taught how to safely cook on our Trangias and will make their evening meal.
Teams will be briefed on the following day before setting down to camp for the night.
