11-day programme comprising of:
1 day in-school Expedition Preparation & Planning Workshop.
5 days Training & Practice Expedition (including minimum 2 overnight camps and optional 2 nights bunkhouse accommodation) in Peak District.
5 days Qualifying Expedition (travel & prep day plus 4-day Qualifying Expedition) in Yorkshire Dales.
This package is suitable for participants with no prior DofE expedition experience.
Looking for something a bit more challenging? Our 12-day Mountainous Expedition Programme is designed to prepare participants for a more adventurous challenge in some of the UK's spectacular mountainous areas. This package comprises of:
1 day in-school Expedition Preparation & Planning Workshop.
2 days Navigation Training in the Peak District with overnight bunkhouse accommodation.
4 days Additional Training & Practice Expedition (including 3 overnight camps) in mountainous terrain.
5 days Qualifying Expedition (travel & prep day plus 4-day Qualifying Expedition) in mountainous terrain.

For schools who are travelling a long distance to the expedition area, we recommend arriving the day before and we can create a bespoke programme to suit your travelling needs.
Bunkhouse accommodation can also be arranged for non-expedition days, especially if the expedition takes place at Easter or in the Autumn when weather conditions and overnight temperatures can be cold and wintry. Please note that separate cost applies to cover the cost of the bunkhouse.
Our Standard Package is suitable for all participants who have completed their Silver Expedition. For participants who have not completed their Silver Expedition, we recommend our Direct Entrants Package which includes an additional day's Training to build a firm foundation of skills before moving into advanced skills at Gold.
